Notes: SPECIAL NEEDS. Sparky has an enlarged heart and heart murmur. He occasionally has fainting spells. He is currently on medication. He is a friendly guy. Sparky loves spending time in the fenced in yard. Since he has a heart condition, having a yard is preferable. Sparky does enjoy short walks but cannot tolerate the heat. He loves squeaky toys. Sparkys favorite treat is a dentastix. His favorite day would be spent in your lap or snuggling with you in bed. He is dog friendly but NOT good with children. He is house broken. The best home for Sparky would be with a retired person or couple who would enjoy his companionship and give him a loving place to live. DOB 03/21/2013 - 9lbs

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. If you are interested in helping to save lives through volunteering, fostering, or adopting, please contact us. If you see a dog you would like to meet, fill in the adoption application form (see the link above). Assuming everything looks good, we will call you to schedule a home visit or meet and greet. Upon approval, you fill out the adoption contract, give your donation, and get to take home your new family member! Adoption donation requested for dogs is typically $175-$300 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs 6+ months old, vaccinations, and deworming.
