Notes: Brisket, owner surrender, DOB 1/2024, 23 lbs, is the perfect namesake for this sweet girl. She is slow to warm up, but when she is ready she the most perfect and delicious companion.

Brisket is a velcro dog and is perfect for an adventurer that wants to have a dog they can take everywhere. At home, she is crate trained to perfection and can chill in her space with a Kong while you go to work. She is high energy but knows when to settle, very food motivated, smart and eager to please.

With proper introductions, she is very dog friendly and has made quick playmates of my own dog, temporary fosters and all the dogs in the building. She loves crinkly and squeaky toys, burrowing in warm blankets and being with her person. Throw in some chin scratches and she is in heaven.

Adoption fee for a dog includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian.

If you see a dog you would like to meet, fill in the adoption application form (see the link above). Assuming everything looks good, we will call you to schedule a home visit or meet and greet. Upon approval, you fill out the adoption contract, give your donation, and get to take home your new family member! Adoption donation requested for dogs is typically $175-$300 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs 6+ months old, vaccinations, and deworming.
