Royce - Brighter Days Dog Rescue, Boulder, CO

Walking: Walks well on the leash

Notes: Royce about a year old and weighs about 10 lbs. We are unsure what breeds he is since we do not know his history, but we are guessing a Spaniel, Chihuahua, or a Terrier mix, or all of these.

Here is what his foster Momma said about him:
Royce walks really well on a leash and stays close by our side. He is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. He sleeps soundly through the night right next to us without any issues. He is playful and really loves being around other dogs. We only saw him interact with children on a few occasions, but he was friendly with them and did not bark. Royce was quite scared and unsure so it is important his forever family gives him the same patience to feel comfortable and safe and does not expect an immediate adjustment to a new home. We just love him so much and he is such a sweet little guy. Whoever ends up adding Royce to their family is going to be incredibly lucky!

Brighter Days Dog Rescue is a Boulder based non-profit organization. We take in at risk dogs.

All dogs and puppies are up-to-date with current vaccinations, spayed/neutered and microchipped to make sure they always find their way home.

Make sure you can complete the adoption application in one sitting as there is no save and continue later option. In order to make sure your application is processed quickly, double-check to make sure everything is filled out, and there are no errors. Click on the Adoption Forn link above to see what information we require.

After we have received your application, we will be in touch within 2-7 days. We review each application on a case by case basis and select the home we think would be the best fit for each dog and family. Once the application is approved, we will have the foster families set up a meet and greet with each of the approved adoptive families within 48-72 hours.
