Adopting a pet from the Pet Adoption and Protection Center is a low cost, personally satisfying alternative to purchasing a pet from a pet store. Our dogs and cats make good pets and reward their rescuers with lifelong loyalty and affection. Although you can search online, you must personally visit one of the various adoption locations or events to adopt a pet. Adoption fee includes: Spay & Neuter Services, Booster and Rabies Vaccinations, De-worming, Microchip, Registration, Foster to Adopt Program: The foster care provider will care for the pet at home during the mandatory 5-day stray hold period; however, you are not the owner of the pet until the hold period has expired.
