Do not forget to bring your pets inside when it is too cold outside. IF IT IS TOO COLD FOR YOU, IT IS TOO COLD FOR THEM! The law says: During cold weather, a dog shelter must have a windbreak at its entrance and have bedding material that is sufficient to protect the animal from cold and promote the retention of body heat.
Dogs Needing Homes at Other Rescues
We do not physically rescue dogs, we publicize Chihuahuas in need of Rescue or a new home. Many of these dogs are at municipal dog pounds so may only have a matter of days to live before they are euthanized to make room for another dog. Too many Chihuahuas die every day simply because they do not have a home to go to.
